Yes, Harry Styles will be performing his new single Sign of the Times on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Yes, there's a lot of pressure. Yes, he seems to be dealing with it very well.
Filming a promo video with this week's SNL host Jimmy Fallon, Harry starts out serious then ends up completely collapsing into giggles. Which bodes well.
We weren't being sarcastic, it genuinely does bode well. We love the jazz clicking, and think Harry should walk everywhere like that. This is also the first time SNL has broadcast coast to coast, which says quite a lot about the Harry fever they're expecting to take hold of viewers.
When Harry released Sign of the Times, it shot straight to number one on the iTunes chart and 1D bandmate Liam Payne tweeted: "Proud of you, H. Glad you’re getting to do your own thing."
Fellow bandmate Niall Horan simply said: "Love it H."
One Direction are currently on hiatus, with fans concerned after Harry left the band's talent agency to join LA-based agets CAA as a solo artist. And also as an actor, because lest we forget, he will be in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Dunkirk later this year. Then, presumably, he'll ascend to king of the world and we'll all have to wear Harry masks from birth.
Either way, we'll be tuning in this Saturday (online).
