Former One Direction member Harry Styles is reportedly set to expand his acting repertoire after reportedly auditioning for an upcoming musical biopic. After his acting success in 2017 epic Dunkirk, the 25-year-old singer has apparently tested for the role of none other than Elvis Presley!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is being led by Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann, and Harry has apparently tested to portray the King of Rock and Roll in the Warner Bros. flick that already has Tom Hanks on board.

The three of them are also apparently up against Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Austin Butler, who is starring in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Toy Story 4 actor Tom Hanks has been confirmed to play Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' former manager who had control over many aspects of his life. According to IMDb, the film is in pre-production and is expected to start filming later this year.
Although Tom Hanks is confirmed to play Elvis' manager, not many other details are known about the project - other than the fact that it will focus on the King's early life; but that's not major news, considering the ages of the stars trying out for the role.
Another major aspect of the film will reportedly deal with Elvis and Tom's relationship - which makes sense, considering that the role of Tom Parker is being played by such a beloved and respected actor as Tom Hanks.
