Harry Styles' solo stuff's officially coming in A MATTER OF DAYS and, suddenly, One Direction's whole hiatus thingy seems a little less bleak. After the world lost its shit over three white squares on Instagram marking a new era, we got his first proper promo pic and the announcement he's gonna be performing said single on SNL in a couple of weeks.
Oh, and guess what? Josh Cuthbert off of Union J and our very own heat Radio fame's been lucky enough to hear the track and reckons it's a bit brilliant.
No shiz, Sherlock.
Every lad and his Labradoodle's already been raving over Harry's solo material - including Ed Sheeran and Columbia Records CEO fella Rob Stringer - and now Josh has warned us we may need to invest in a new pair of socks when we finally hear it.
Posting on Twitter (bloody show off), Josh said: "Harry Styles's new music is gonna blow your socks off !! X," leaving fans desperate for a sneaky listen. A lot of 'HAVE YOU HEARD's and 'Have you heard it wow's ensued in his mentions, as you can probably imagine.
This all comes after HITS Daily Double reported that Harry's debut tune's a 'five-minute track' with a 'contemporary-sounding nod to British rock of the ’70s.'
They report: 'Label execs have actually been requiring some who hear the track early to sign non-disclosure agreements. Part of the rollout plan's big reveal is to withhold the single title until the drop date.'
Cannae wait, mate.
Catch Josh Cuthbert on heat Radio every Sunday at midday. His show's brill.
