Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor are doing a “beautiful” song together featuring a UKULELE – don’t be jelly, guys

So, it looks like Harry Styles and Megan Trainor have been getting up close and personal – in the recording studio (calm down).

They’ve done a duet together – Harry’s first solo release away from One Direction – and it’s called Someday Maybe.

Megan, who delighted, infuriated and generally brainwashed us with All About That Bass last year, has spoken to* The Sun* and spilled the beans on her new song with Hazza. And it involves a ukulele.

"It's real! It's a duet,” she said.

“It's a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele. We even recorded a rough demo together with our vocals together. It's a cute acoustic love thing.”

Nice. So how did it come about?

“It’s one of the first cool things I got to do with a pop star,” Megan told the newspaper.

“A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me.

“He’s an incredible writer, too. I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics.

“I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is’.”

We’d put firm bets on Harry knowing what love is – he’s romanced a whole load of lovely ladies.

We can’t wait to hear the duet when it comes out – and we hope to see Harry playing ukulele in the background of a One Direction video pronto.
