Ever since Zayn Malik left One Direction, the band went on a hiatus and, basically, all our lives were ruined, we’ve been in a constant state of mourning.
We like to pretend the original five are all in a WhatsApp group together like the Harry Potter cast but, realistically, we’re lying to ourselves.
Zayn even slated the band’s music in 2015, saying: “Would you listen to One Direction, sat at a party with your girl? I wouldn’t.”
And, speaking to Rolling Stone, Harry Styles said it was “a shame” Zayn thinks this.
“I think it’s a shame he felt that way,” he said, “but I never wish anything but luck to anyone doing what they love.
“If you’re not enjoying something and need to do something else, you absolutely should do that.
“I’m glad he’s doing what he likes, and good luck to him,” he added.
