Former Coronation Street and Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon has hit back at her haters, after she was trolled for posting a pregnancy update to her 126,000 Twitter followers.
The soap star, who has recently got engaged, excitedly posted a picture of her growing baby bump whilst she relaxed at her home, following a lunch date with her former Dancing On Ice partner Dan Whiston.
She captioned the image, 'Almost 24 weeks and Feeling the stretch now!'.
'I’m smothered in @mamamio every little kick and punch is getting stronger. Feels incredibly and weirdly wonderful!'. [sic].
A Twitter user then replied, 'Ok, you’re pregnant. Now, put it away'.
But Hayley was quick to respond, saying, 'No thanks Linda... I’m quite happy keeping it out thanks. Feel the best I’ve ever felt and quite proud to show it off the baby bump I never thought I’d ever have. All the best to you!'. [sic]. Ouch.
And she didn't stop there, Hayley then tweeted, 'Thanks for all your lovely positive tweets! No one has the right to tell us women what to do with our bodies. And if I wanna show off my bump.. I'm gonna. sleep tight everyone'. [sic].
Hayley's latest tweet comes after her announcement that she was pregnant. Taking to Instagram, she posted this CUTE picture of her cradling her bump with the caption, 'EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! I'm so pleased to tell you all... I'm expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!!'.
'I've always wanted to be a mum but didn't think it could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 - I'M PREGNANT! And We couldn't be happier'. [sic]
