ACTUAL President Obama. Honestly.

Barack Obama

Excuse us a minute – we've just been speaking to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Not even kidding.

Barack Obama took time out of his busy schedule to talk to heat Radio because– well, who actually knows why, so let's just say he's a huge fan of our work.

So what did we talk to him about? Street slang, of course. What would you ask the President about?

heat Radio presenter Ryan Seacrest took it upon himself to ask Obama about college lingo, to check how down with the kids (of voting age) he is.

"I know I'm going to fail this miserably," said Obama, wonderfully.

The first word up was "fam" as in "my fam was mad deep up in the club the other day", which is a phrase that we use literally every Monday (lies).

"Fam means family, like my crew," replied Obama.

He's right of course.

Next up: "Pitbull slayed it over the weekend in 'Vegas," said Ryan. Which we find hard to believe but whatever.

"What does 'slayed it' mean?"

"Killed it," answered Obama, with all the confidence of a man who is right. Which he is.

And finally: "I asked around, but I got curved," questioned Ryan.

Ryan Seacrest and Ellen K

"Was humiliated," answered Obama.

"I think we've all been curved at some point."

How is he so good? Even we didn't know that one and we are well street (yeah, Coronation Street, maybe).

"I tell you what though, those questions, they were lit," the President of the United States of America concludes.

And then our brains and hearts (and pants) melted into some kind of embarrassing fan person puddle.

We love him. We love him so hard.

Listen to the full interview (which actually contains some serious political discussion too) on Ryan Seacrest's show on heat Radio live online, on DAB Digital Radio across the UK, on Freeview 716 or on the free app from 1pm today.
