Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter denies that she was drunk on live TV

Ah, wasted celebs on telly. You naughty boys and girls, you.

From Tara Palmer-Tomkinson slurring away on Frank Skinner to the dulcet tones of a slightly sozzled Graham Norton each year on Eurovision, we’re used to famous types being drunk and disorderly every so often.

But not… Jorgie Porter! No, no, no.

The Internet has been in an uproar since the Hollyoaks babe appeared on Philip Schofield’s 24-hour marathon Text Santa charity appeal, possibly, maybe, worse for wear.

On the 2am slot of the fundraiser, Jorgie tells Phil that he looks “fit” before describing a dress being given away in an auction as: “coming with a great night out”.

“We think you mean that the dress will give you a great night out,” Phil replies. At this point curious viewers began to tweet that Jorgie seemed a bit tipsy.

Jorgie then scuttled from auction prize to auction prize, rambling in an er, rather drunk fashion to be quite honest – but she denies this. She later replied to one Twitter user:

Well, that clears that up then.
