When Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence broke up, a little piece of our soul withered and died. And when J-Law got together with Chris Martin, a slightly larger piece of our soul gaped in amazement and said "OMG" and "WTF" and then promptly withered and died.
So the remaining part of our soul is pretty happy (and relieved) to hear Nick is still kindling hopes of a reunion with his X-Men: Apocalypse co-star while they film the new movie in Canada.
According to America's Star magazine, Jen is still "really into Chris" and always looks forward to his set visits.
But Nicholas is "determined to win her back" and vies for her attention on set. Which must be REALLY funge (funny/cringe) to watch.
"He's hoping that during filming, he'll win her heart again," the insider added.
However, this love triangle has just become a love square, because Nick is kind of seeing Glee star Dianna Agron – the two were recently spotted in the UK together.
"Nicholas is very low key so at first Dianna would just tag along with him to the pub and she'd be part of the gang," a source said at the time.
"No one thought much about it but recently they've become a very close and are behaving quite couply."
