We at heat watch Clueless on average 30 times a day, so we confess ourselves alarmed by news that there's a massive error in the film that we never even noticed.

We'll try harder next time :(

Everyone knows that Cher's full name is Cher Horowitz, right? RIGHT?

Well it appears the prop guy didn't, as someone's noticed a massive name error on her report card in one of the scenes.

If you look closely at the name, it says "Cher Hamilton", which is just completely wrong (minus the 'H' – good effort, prop guy).

What does this mean? Did they decide to change her name at the last minute? Was the prop guy just really drunk when he made it? Or did they think no-one would possibly care enough about the film to notice that and WRITE ARTICLES ON IT?

Who can be sure?

Checky out the scene here:

ALSO CHECK OUT: our list of words and phrases we learned from the film.

Betty: A gorgeous, beautiful woman with classic Hollywood style and sleek looks.

Riding the crimson wave: Want to tell a bloke you’re on your period? Done. Also, a way of explaining major PMT.

Monet: Like the painting, when something looks great from a distance but a total mess up close.

Buggin’: When you’re having a major freak out about something. Eg, “I forgot I have a meeting and now I’m buggin’.”

Duke: A proper, sophisticated boy.

Postal: When your BFF is losing her crap, going nuts, being a bit cray – she’s going postal.

Wig Out: Same as postal.

As if: An exclamation of total disbelief.
