Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy, died today at the age of 91 - leaving his wife, Crystal Harris, a widow.
But apparently she will inherit nothing of Hugh’s millionaire fortune because of an “ironclad” prenup she signed years ago.
Hugh and Crystal, who had a 60 year age gap, tied the knot on New Year’s Eve back in 2012 at the Playboy Mansion in L.A.
A source told US Weekly that she was never added to his will – but she will be taken care of.
Instead, his fortune (which is estimated as a staggering $43 million), will be divided up between Hugh’s four children, a list of charities, and the University of Southern California.
Speaking about the huge age gap between himself and his wife, Hugh once tweeted: "The dramatic age difference between Crystal & me really doesn't matter. Whatever time I have left, we want to spend together."
Hugh and Crystal’s wedding was actually their second attempt at getting married: in 2011 Crystal allegedly called off the big day because she got cold feet.
The wedding was called off five days before it was meant to happen. Crystal said: “Last time it turned into a big ordeal and then it all fell apart."
The second time round, however, Crystal said she was much more excited to wed Hugh.
She also once REALLY embarrassed Hugh by telling everyone they’d only ever had sex once, and that it only lasted two seconds…
Crystal added: “Then I was just over it. I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it.”
Crystal wasn’t Hugh’s first wife though: in 1949 he married Mildred Williams, but they then divorced 10 years later. Then in 1989 he married Kimberly Conrad, who he separated from in 1998.
Hugh has four children, Christie, David, Marston and Cooper.
