In more GOOD THURSDAY NEWS (you’ve checked out George Clooney buying lunch for homeless people in Scotland and the skateboarding dog, right?) another celeb has revealed that they’re giving their I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fee to charity.

Duncan Bannatyne has announced via Twitter that his fee for appearing in the jungle will go to Operation Smile UK, the charity he’s an ambassador for.

Although remaining coy about actual amount, Duncan’s fee will help fund “life-changing”operations for 125 African children.

The charity provides free surgery to children and young people who have cleft palates and other facial deformities.

On the charity’s site, it says that a donation of £150 pays for an operation for one child so by the power of GCSE maths, we deduce that Duncan must be receiving £18,750 for his jungle stint.

Hmm, that doesn't seem quite right.

But the fee’s not the important thing in this case: it’s the gesture.

And it comes hot on the heels of Kieron Dyer announcing that he’s donating his whole *I’m A Celeb *fee to a stillbirth charity, The Jude Brady Foundation.

Excuse us, we’ve just got something in our eye…. Time to watch the skateboarding dog again.
