You’ve probably heard that by now that YouTube star Jack Maynard has been removed from the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle ‘due to circumstances outside the camp’.
After a series of tweets deemed homophobic and racist resurfaced earlier this week, Jack's spokesperson has released a statement confirming his exit, explaining: "It would be better to bring him out of the show."
An ITV rep added: "Due to circumstances outside camp Jack has had to withdraw from the show."
And now it looks like he may not receive a single penny for his stint in the jungle.
An ‘unwritten rule’ of the show apparently states contestants will be entitled to their full pay packet after spending 72 hours in the jungle.
Which means Jack is unlikely to walk away with £25,000 he was reportedly meant to be paid.
Back in 2014, Gemma Collins faced a similar predicament after walking out of the show after just a couple of days.
However, given that Gemma managed to stick it out for just over 72 hours, there were rumours she was paid in full.
But, according to The Sun, a TOWIE rep has since claimed the GC was paid £4,800 (just a small proportion of her pay packet), and donated the fee to charity.
Now, check out how much the rest of the I'm A Celeb contestants are being paid.
