Jack Tweed has been found guilty of assaulting three students in Essex in a row over a taxi.
Jack – who was married to the late Jade Goody – claimed he was taunted by two men and a woman. Jack alleged that the three had compared Jade, who died of cancer in 2009, to a “boiled egg”.

But the court rejected his claim and found him guilty of punching Christopher Davis, hitting Max Oliver and grabbing Charlotte Mansfield by the wrists. The fight broke out when it’s claimed the three would not allow Jack into their taxi.
“We have heard from the three witnesses behind you and we find their evidence credible,” Chair of the bench Paul Jee said.
“As a result we do not believe the 'boiled egg' comment was ever made. We wonder why, if it had been made, you didn't raise it as a defence when interviewed by police. Furthermore, we believe they didn't know who you were and, considering their age, there is no reason to believe they would.”
Jack has been ordered to pay victim compensation, court costs and will be required to carry out 150 hours of community service.
Following the verdict, Max Oliver is claimed to have blasted Jack saying: “I can't describe how disgusting it is that he tried to use Jade's illness to try to get off this. I'm relieved and happy he's been found guilty and the truth has come out.”
