The standard way to announce your engagement these days is to post a pic of your whopping big ring on Facebook and stick the diamond emoji after it, right? Or at least stage an elaborate proposal photoshoot, ‘lose’ the camera card and wait for a Buzzfeed story about it to go viral.
Well Jacqueline Jossa has finally confirmed her engagement to ex-TOWIE star Dan Osborne with a relatively old-school picture of them both.
She posted the photo of them both hugging in the sea and captioned it: “My fiancé.”
News of their engagement first broke on Monday, and it turned out Dan had proposed while they were both in Greece for Jacqueline’s sister’s wedding.
Dan then took to Twitter to confirm the news:
Jac got the kids in her family to stage a cute Instagram video in which they shouted “Jacqueline and Daniel are getting married!”
The couple, who had baby daughter Ella back in January, are thought to be planning their wedding for next year.
