Jake Quickenden gushes about relationship with pal Carl Fogarty’s daughter Danielle: “I’m in LOVE”

When Jake Quickenden rose to fame on The X Factor and seemingly stripped off in every magazine at every opportunity we began to think there was a real future for us (because that’s how the world works in our minds).

But the hunky singer, 26, went on to star in I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! which lead him to meet winner Carl Fogarty’s daughter Danielle.

And that’s where it all went wrong for Jake’s adoring fans as he soon started dating the 23-year-old. Sob.

Things are now going so well for the couple that Jake admits he’s in LOVE with Danielle.

He told The Daily Star Sunday: “I am hook, line and sinker at the moment. I can happily say it is love.

“To be honest, I couldn’t ask to meet a better person than Danielle. We get on so well and are both really happy.”

And Jake has been welcomed into the Fogarty family with open arms after speaking to his mate Karl about the relationship early on.

Jake said: “I didn’t really tell Carl or ask his permission. I was just round his house all the time and I think he thought ‘Why the hell is Jake here drinking my beer and eating all my food all the time?’

“Then eventually we sat down and I told him I was serious about Danielle and wouldn’t hurt her.

“Carl just said he couldn’t ask for a better person to see his daughter. He said some lovely things and was pretty happy.

“I have got the full seal of approval. All the family love me, which is amazing.”
