Jake, who came second to Carl on the jungle reality show, met Danielle after filming in Australia.

Apparently things became more serious between the pair just before Christmas when former X Factor contestant Jake spent some time at the Fogarty family home.

A source told* The Sun*: “It’s very early days. He went up to stay with Carl, and he and Danielle have spent a lot of time together.

“They’ve grown very close and really like each other. They are taking it very slowly because they don’t want to ruin their friendship and he’s just come out of a relationship.

“He has been welcomed with open arms by the family and they’re having a lot of fun.”

Suggesting they were just on friendly terms, Danielle added: “He keeps coming up to the family home. He’s part of the family now.”

The news comes after it emerged Jake split from ex Victoria Skerrow just a month before going into the jungle.
