Hollyoaks actor Jake Quickenden has revealed he's quitting social media.
The 31-year-old, who rose to fame on The X Factor, posted on his Instagram profile that he'd be taking time off "for a little while."
He said, "Gonna be coming off social media for a little while, honestly it's not been good for my head."
"Only so many times a day you can get called worthless or irrelevant, I say it doesn't bother me but sometimes it does, I start doubting myself and I'm just doing what anyone does trying to work and earn a living!!"
He concluded, "Thank you to the people who are always lovely! Happy new year!"

Jake's news comes just days after his fellow Hollyoaks co-star Ellis Hollins, who plays Tom Cunningham, said Jake's personality and work ethic was infectious when he worked on the soap.
He told BANG Showbiz, "He's a wonderful fella. I haven't laughed like that for a long time.
"He always came into work ... we come into work at 7.50am, which for some people is a standard time but you're still tired when you come in."
