What is this we have here? James Franco kissing Zachary Quinto? Why, yes it is. What a strange turn of events.

Zach came out publicly in 2011 but James Frano has never mentioned he fancies the menz.

Oh, well, that may be because he doesn’t, despite rumours swirling in the past about his sexuality.

The pair locked lips for a scene in their upcoming biopic I Am Michael which premieres at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday.

And James just couldn’t wait to put it out there and show the world how happy he was to be kissing Zachary.

Posting a picture of the kiss on Instagram, James wrote: “#iammichael, directed by the great @tojustinkelly, starring me and the legendary, @zacharyquinto PREMIERES AT SUNDANCE.”

The film tells the story of former gay activist Michael Glatze, who decided not to stay true to his sexuality so he could become a Christian pastor.
