On our list of favourite fitlords (YES WE HAVE A LIST), Jamie Dornan is up there with Calum Best, Idris Elba and the Hemsworth brothers as the best of the best.
HE'S JUST SO BLOODY BEAUTIFUL, ISN'T HE?
He's pretty much the fundamental reason we enjoy watching the Fifty Shades films, and we caught up with him to find out (among other things) more about his friendship with co-star Dakota Johsnon.
"We’ve been through a very unique situation that probably neither of us will ever go through again, that pushed us together and we had to rely on each other 100 per cent," he told heat.
"It forged that bond between us that will always be there. We didn’t know each other particularly on the first one because I was late to the party, and it meant there wasn’t a lot of time to form that friendship and that dynamic between us.
"But working on this and Fifty Shades Freed [the third instalment] was so much better in that sense because we had gotten to know each other so well, become best friends, know what to expect of the other, especially when you’re shooting scenes of very close intimacy."
We then pressed him about the subject we reaallly wanna know more about (sex scenes, obv).
"It was easier to do the sex scenes with someone you know well. There were glimpses of awkwardness in the first, but that was completely eradicated by the second. We both got to learn that each of us go for the joke when things get a little too intense, or bashful, it’s our natural reaction."
"Those scenes are less about sexiness and more about laughter. I don’t think we ever got through one without? bursting into fits of laughter.
"All it took was one look, one joke, and I’m sure the crew were like, ‘Oh great, here we go again’, but we needed that levity and humour to keep it fun and light."
