If you’re as much of a reality TV fan as we are here at heat hq then you might remember that Camilla Thurlow’s new bae, Jamie Jewitt, has graced our TV screens long before he appeared on Love Island.
Yup, it seems like Mr Jewitt has a bit of a low key TV career under his belt… as those of you who watched E4’s Taking New York will know that he was also a main character on the reality series.
But that’s not all, as it has now been revealed that Jamie also auditioned to appear on The Only Way is Essex before he jetted off to the Love Island villa!
Hmm. We don’t know about you, but we can’t quite see Jamie sipping a Pornstar Martini in the Sugarhut…
And while Jamie didn’t get the gig, a source close to Camilla is apparently nervous that Jamie’s TV track record is a sign he might only be in it for the fame.
They told The Sun: “Jamie auditioned for Towie last year but wasn’t cast in the final line-up...
“Jamie has always wanted to be on TV – it’s no surprise that he latched onto Camilla as soon as he entered the villa.
“He would do anything to further his chances and prolong his time on the show.”
Hmmm. First the news that Jamie cheated on his ex girlfriend and now this? We sure hope that he proves his critics wrong and treats our girl Cam like the princess that she is!
