If you didn’t spend the better part of the last decade consumed by Warren Fox’s drug dealing, murdering, blackmailing, sordid affairs, and feud with that absolute beast Clare Devine, then you were frankly doing the noughties wrong.
First introduced to Hollyoaks in 2006, IRL Warren and FITLORD Jamie Lomas played one of the most iconic characters of any soap ever. After being killed off in a fire in 2011, he joined EastEnders in 2013 to play alcoholic Jake Stone. He then came back from the dead in Hollyoaks in 2016, because those scriptwriters do whatever the hell they want. And we ruddy love it.
Speaking to heat ahead of his campaign with men’s clothing brand Jacamo, Jamie opened up about the potential for yet another Hollyoaks comeback (we can’t get enough of them, tbh),
He said: “Hollyoaks is like my family. It’s always amazing when I go back there.
“They’ve always been very good to me there and that’s something that I’ll always remember. I’d never say I’ll never go back."
He also hit back at reports the cast aren’t pleased about Stephanie Davis’ return to the soap (it was recently announced she’ll reprise her role as Sinead O’Connor this autumn).
“Hollyoaks is such an amazing cast that they’ll welcome her with open arms I’m sure… everyone’s got a past and it’s time to move on now. Everyone deserves a second chance.”
Jamie came runner-up in the 2017 series of I’m A Celeb, during which he made us all nearly destroy our TVs with a hammer in fright when he got trapped in an actual coffin full of actual pythons.
Speaking about his time on the show, he said: "People ask me all the time what was it like and I always say the same thing. Unless you’ve done it, you cant explain it. It's such a privileged group to have been able to do it. It was the best experience by far that I've ever done in my life."
He also opened up about the uncertainty about whether Ant McPartlin will return to the show this year after his second stint in rehab, insisting that the show couldn’t go on without him.
“I don’t think it’s a show without Ant,” Jamie said. “I just think people need to cut him a bit of slack and just let him get on with it. I’m sure he’ll be back next year.”
Jamie is working with Manchester-based men’s clothing brand Jacamo, and we can very much confirm he’s looking lit AF after a hefty post-jungle gym sesh.
Speaking about the campaign, he said: “Because Jacamo is based in Manchester and I’m a Manchester lad… it’s something I really wanted to be a part of.”
Jamie is currently working at his acting agency, Jamie Lomas Associates, and recently announced the opening of him new venture, an acting school called First Take, on Instagram.
As part of an ongoing relationship with Jacamo, Jamie Lomas is modelling the Summer 2018 range that is available exclusively online from Jacamo, with sizes up to 5XL. Jacamo.co.uk

Where are your favourite noughties Hollyoaks actors now? slider
Ali Bastian (Becca Hayton 2001 - 2007) then
You'll probably remember Becca most for that (extremely) ill-fated affair with her ex-student Justin. The affair took place while she was married to horrid Jake Dean, and ended when she dumped him and he falsely told the police she forced him to have sex with her aged 15. To cut a long story short, she ended up getting stabbed and killed in prison. An absolute shocker.
Ali Bastian (Becca Hayton 2001 - 2007) now
After leaving Hollyoaks, Ali played PC Sally Armstrong in The Bill. She also competed in the 2009 series of Strictly Come Dancing, coming third.
Emma Rigby (Hannah Ashworth 2005 – 2010) then
The most notable storyline of Hannah's was her suffering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. This proved controversial and gained a lot of press attention, particularly when her friend Melissa became the first person in soap history to die as a result of an eating disorder.
Emma Rigby (Hannah Ashworth 2005 – 2010) now
Since leaving the soap, Emma has appeared in a number of shows – including Fresh Meat, Prisoners' Wives, and films American Violence and Hollywood Dirt.
Loui Batley (Sarah Barnes 2005 – 2009) then
Poor old Sarah Barnes had an absolute mare of a time when she plunged to her death after girlfriend Lydia Hart accidentally sabotaged her parachute (thinking it was Zoe Carpenter's).Before that, Sarah was involved in many high-profile storylines – such as the Craig and Jean-Paul relationship, Amy Barnes' pregnancies, and Kathy Barnes' affair with Rhys.
Loui Batley (Sarah Barnes 2005 – 2009) now
Since leaving the show, Loui appeared in a couple of films and also sings in a band called Verity.
Ciara Janson (Nicole Owen 2004 – 2007) then
Nicole was a school friend of Sarah and Hannah, and also was involved with Justin after his affair with Becca.
Ciara Janson (Nicole Owen 2004 – 2007) now
Since leaving the show, Ciara became a prolific voice-over artist, and appeared on the radio show The Famous Five, as well as various BBC Radio 4 dramas.
Matt Littler (Max Cunningham 1994 - 2008) then
Poor old Max had an absolutely awful time on Hollyoaks. Aside from the fact that pretty much every member of his family died, he also got into a relationship with that absolute beast Clare Devine, which culminated in his unfortunate death on his wedding day. Poor O.B.
Matt Littler (Max Cunningham 1994 - 2008) now
Since leaving the show, Matt wrote several short films for Channel 4, and also worked as a voiceover on ITV2.
Guy Burnet (Craig Dean 2008 - 2008) then
Craig was one half of probably the best soap relationship OF ALL TIME - Craig and Jean Paul. We'd never been happier than we were when those two finally got together.
Guy Burnet (Craig Dean 2008 - 2008) now
Since leaving the show, he's appeared in a few TV shows - such as the BBC's Moving On. He has also been in films - notably Pitch Perfect 3.
Roxanne McKee (Louise Summers) then
Louise first appeared on the show as Darren Osbourne's girlfriend, but then ended up getting married to Warren Fox, who killed her on her wedding day. What a mess.
Roxanne McKee (Louise Summers) now
Since leaving the show, Roxanne has appeared on a number of TV shows - most notably Game Of Thrones. She' also appeared in Lip Service and Eastenders.
Chris Fountain (Justin Burton) then
Justin Burton was the second party of the aforementioned teacher - student affair with Becca. He left the show in 2009 (alive, miraculously), and was mentioned again in 2017 when Warren Fox called to say their rival Clare Devine was dead.
Chris Fountain (Justin Burton) now
Chris appeared in Coronation Street as Tommy Duckworth after leaving Hollyoaks, and was also a runner up in Dancing On Ice. He also last year joined the cast of ITV show Girlfriends in a supporting role.
Connie and Cassie Powney (Mel and Sophie Burton 2003 - 2006) then
Twins Mel and Sophie were the older sisters of Justin Burton. Mel struggled with alcoholism, and they both ended up getting killed in the fire at The Dog. So neither of their Hollyoaks lives were particularly peachy.
Cassie Powney and Connie Powney (Mel Burton) now
Since leaving Hollyoaks, Cassie has had a baby and become a beauty correspondent for Cosmopolitan magazine. Connie has kept a fairly low profile, but has since starred in Crackanory - playing the role of Zoe Two.
Darren Jeffries (O.B 1997 - 2008)
O.B. strictly speaking isn't a noughties-only Hollyoaks character as he returned in 2017, but he was certainly one of the most iconic. He was the other half of the absolute dream team that is Max and O.B., and dated Mel Burton while on the show.
Darren Jeffries (O.B 1997 - 2008) now
As well as his brief comeback on Hollyoaks, Darren established himself as a presenter - having since hosted the British Soap Awards spin-off show and The Gadget Show.
