The words no celebrity ex ever wants to hear have got to be “tell-all book”, and this time, it’s Jamie Redknapp who could be quaking in his boots as his ex-wife Louise recently revealed she is releasing that very thing.
The 45 year old told fans on Instagram, “So, I’ve been busy working on my new book! You Got This is out in March 2021… I wanted to write a book that was empowering and uplifting – a little bit of a love letter to anyone who has ever wondered if they’re getting it right in life... you got this.”
And an insider close to the former couple tells heat the book is the latest spanner in the works for Louise and Jamie.
“Louise is being warned against the book by just about everyone,” our source reveals. “They all think it is going to cause issues with Jamie, who she co-parents with. He is not happy about this and has told her so. But she is now hell-bent on setting the record straight, and telling her side of the story.”

The couple – who were married for 19 years before splitting in 2017 – share sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 11. And heat recently told you that Jamie and Louise had seemed to be getting closer again over lockdown, but now he’s heard about his ex-wife’s book, any potential reunion plans are off the table.
“As far as Lou is concerned, she and Jamie could have patched things up in lockdown, but he played hard to get and ruined their chances at a reunion,” our insider explains. “It’s made her wonder about all those years of marriage and everything she had to put up with. She feels like she needs to get some things off her chest.”
After splitting from Jamie, Louise was vocal about issues in their marriage, explaining that she felt she missed out on career opportunities while married.
“I was lonely and I felt like I had nothing to say,” she admitted in an interview earlier this year. And now it seems she’s keen to give more of an insight into her struggle.
We’re told, “Louise maintains this is about starting a new chapter in her life and feels that by speaking out, it will help her finally move on.
“She also hopes that by getting her side of the story across, Jamie might finally understand what she tried to tell him for years while they were married.”
