Jeff Brazier has opened up about the full extent of his marriage problems after admitting to “difficulties” last month.

Jeff – who has two sons, Freddie and Bobby, with late reality star Jade Goody – married PR director Kate Dwyer in 2018 after a five year relationship, but in October released a statement confirming, “They have had some difficulties but they are doing their utmost to work through them together and will continue to do so in private."

Now Jeff has given some insight into their marriage, admitting he thought they’d have started trying for a family by now.

“I had thought when we got married we'd go straight in [on starting a family] but there's seems to have been a change of heart about that, and a need for a little more time before those decisions are made,” he told MailOnline.

“Being married makes you feel more settled, but life doesn't feel much different because Kate has a wonderful career in PR where she works very hard and long hours, so it's still just me and the boys at home a fair bit.”

Jeff has previously gushed about Kate’s relationship with his teen boys, telling Closer in 2014, “With dating I always decide if that person is right for me before introducing them to the boys.

“If anything, once she met them that just made the relationship stronger because she is a real natural. It's a weight off my shoulders. All parents worry that that person won't be right for their kids, but she's fit right in."
