Last week, Jennifer Aniston shared Instagram stories of her dogs “exhausted” after a “big day” of self-isolation (same, hun, same). But an insider close to the A-list actress tells us she has plenty of reasons to feel sorry for herself at the moment. And it’s mostly thanks to Brad Pitt and his “other woman”, actress and artist Alia Shawkat.
“Jen doesn’t want to come across as desperate or clingy, but she seems to be finding it hard to stay cool when all she’s hearing from her and Brad’s mutual friends these days is how smitten he is with Alia. Jen’s in the dark about exactly what’s happening between those two, but what she does know is that they’ve been chatting on the phone and messaging throughout lockdown and have become super-close.”
Brad, 56, was spotted hanging out with 30-year-old Alia on multiple occasions earlier in the year, and we’re told Jen is gutted at how their relationship is developing.

“The phone calls and texts from Brad have dried up, and now Jen’s lucky to hear from him more than a couple of times a week, if that,” our source says. “It’s a far cry from just a couple of months ago, when they’d talk on a daily basis and were going to therapy while discussing whether or not to get back together.”
Our insider reveals that Jen, 51, is now questioning if they have a future. We’re told, “Right now, Jen has had to accept that she and Brad may not have what it takes to get back together, but she’d find that a lot easier to swallow if he was more open about it. Instead, he seems to be acting aloof and standoffish.
