Well look who knows how to give the people what they want. Just weeks after the 25th anniversary of the first episode of Friends, Jennifer Aniston has only gone and joined Instagram and posted a picture of herself with THE ENTIRE CAST of Friends.

Apparently the move was prompted by her friend and TikTok expert Reese Witherspoon who convinced her that she should get an account while they filmed The Morning Show together.

So now Jen can spend her Friday evening watching other people's stories and feeling bad about her social life just like the rest of us.

Jennifer's caption reads, "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM".

When we say the entire cast we obviously mean Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and David Schwimmer. This is the first known instance of all six of them having dinner together, though it is technically possible that six people could spend time together and not put it on social media so we might not know.

However, many celebrities were over the moon with Jennifer signing up to the popular social media site, with Mariah Carey commenting, "Yaaaay! 🎉 Welcome to Instagram, Jennifer! It's a moment 💖" while Ellen DeGeneres hilariously said, "I’m so glad they’re still there for you."

Speaking to Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about the show's anniversary, James joked he only started to speak in the sitcom's '33rd episode', before adding, "I wasn't aware of where it [Gunther] was going to go. It happened organically.

"It was going to be about a two episode arc in my mind but they kept it for ten years and I'm very grateful for that."

James even admitted that he doesn't get recognised as often as you'd think, confessing, "People tell me to get out of the way at these Friends events and then they realise who I am and say, 'Oh, I'm sorry!'
