Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she’s given up on the idea of marriage. In a very candid interview with Diane Sawyer (you’ll know her from that amazing ABC interview with Caitlyn Jenner) set to air in the US tonight, Jen, 25, opened up about her love life. And she sounded pretty down about it.
In the interview she admits splitting with Brit actor Nicholas Hoult after a five-year relationship was tough and left her questioning herself. “I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life,” Jen said. “Being 24 was this whole year of…‘who am I without this man?'”

And now Jen admits she’s changed her view of the future and doesn’t see herself ever walking up the aisle.
“I don't know if I ever will get married and I'm OK with that,” she tells Diane. “I don't feel that I need anything to complete me. I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something.”
But having children is something she is sure about. “I definitely want to be a mother,” she added.
Jen’s full interview with Diane Sawyer airs on Nightline this evening.
