Joanna Lumley's an absolute British institution, isn't she? The woman's basically up there with The Beatles, Bond and Big Ben. So obviously we were ridiculously excited for the 71-year-old star's big BAFTA presenting debut.
All was going pretty smoothly as Joanna took to the stage at London's Royal Albert Hall ready to celebrate all things cinema; until viewers noticed Jennifer Lawrence seemingly throw the host 'shade' over her introduction.
DRAMA.
Announcing J-Law to the stage to present the first award, Joanna said: "Right, let’s start giving out some of those beautiful BAFTAs shall we?
"And we start with the award for Outstanding British Film, and who better to kick the whole evening off than the hottest actress on the planet? Soon to be seen in Red Sparrow, it’s the ravishing Jennifer Lawrence."
Jennifer didn't seem best pleased with Joanna's gushing introduction, though, as she responded: "Hi, that was a bit much but thank you Joanna."
So. Bloody. Awkward.

Viewers didn't exactly take kindly to Jennifer's response, with some branding her 'rude.' One took to Twitter to say 'Jennifer Lawrence doesn't get to diss the loverly Joanna Lumley. It's just not on' [sic], with another commenting 'You DO NOT be rude to Joanna Lumley. Accept the compliment with grace and dignity Jennifer Lawrence.'
A very disgruntled viewer even went as far as to say 'Hahaa, who does Jennifer Lawrence think she is?? Stuck up cow. If I was Joanna Lumley I know exactly where I'd stick that.'
Blimey.
