Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are fast becoming BFFs. After getting chummy while on a yacht with friends earlier this year, the girls are now becoming inseparable. And, if this new video is anything to go by, it’s pretty clear that they have a lot of love for one another.
While at a Billy Joel concert, Jen and Amy were invited up onstage with the singer to dance along to Uptown Girl. It was a bit like Taylor Swift’s 'welcome to the stage' but with a far less rehearsed performance.
As Amy scrambles up onto Billy’s piano (how wild!) Jen starts kissing her feet before jumping up to join her dancing for the audience.
Earlier this week it was revealed the girls are also working together, with Jen explaining the pair writing a screenplay together.
“We play sisters,” Jen told the New York Times. “We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”
She also alluded to their close friendship, adding: “Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavours. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing.
“And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.”
They’re a friendship-match made in heaven.
