Pop star Jennifer Lopez has delighted fans by posting a clip from her 'This is Me...Then' video from 2002, which features her then fiancé, actor Ben Affleck. The 'On The Floor' singer took to Instagram in anticipation of the VMAs which take place tomorrow saying, '2️⃣ days till #vmas...this was the first video and single off my album “This Is Me...Then”. It was probably my most personal album ever...and honestly my favorite album I’ve done so far...I just loved the sound of it and the sentiments...'[sic]
She went on to say, 'At that time I truly realized that being an artist meant you have to be vulnerable and bare your heart and soul...it takes courage to do that...to really show who you are at any given moment in time...and this was me then... completely. And one of the things that was important for me to remind everyone of in that moment was who I am and who I will always be...don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got I’m still I’m still...JENNY FROM THE BLOCK.' [sic]
The short clip from the video shows Jennifer and Ben who play on screen love interests - as well as real life partners - playing by a swimming pool as Ben lifts the pop star out of the water in a Dirty Dancing-esque lift. This short clip clearly delighted many fans with them leaving comments such as, 'Thanks for reminding old times! You’re always the best @jlo 😍', 'One of my faves! Now that I've watched it over and over I can finally keep scrolling' and 'My favourite album of you..so many songs remind me the old times..good times👌💖💖'.

Jennifer and Ben dated in the earlier 2000s and were engaged in November 2002. The 'This is Me...Then' album was heavily focussed about their relationship with tracks such as 'Dear Ben'. Known as 'Bennifer' in the media, they became a popular celebrity couple. The couple were due to wed in September 2003, but a day before decided to postpone their wedding, later on breaking up.
JLo has had a string of hits over the years including, 'Love Don't Cost A Thing', 'If You Had My Love' and 'All I Have'. Although she is still releasing some music she is also appearing on various TV shows including World of Dance. Earlier this year, Jennifer appeared on Ellen along with her World Of Dance co-stars Jenna Dewan, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough when she suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction, however she look it all in her stride.
