We’ve stumbled across an amazing BBC interview with Jennifer Saunders and Lena Dunham.
The pair interview each other in an interactive online chat called When Len Met Jen, and at the end LENA ASKS JENNIFER TO BE ON GIRLS.
Just yes!
And the pair get along so famously that it looks like it may actually happen.
The funny ladies also talk about how their characters Hannah Horvath (Girls) and Edina Monsoon (Absolutely Fabulous) both wear clothes that are too small.
“We try Hannah’s clothes on with Spanx,” Lena tells Jennifer.
“Then we take them off so the clothes fit slightly wrong. It ruins me. My costume designer says ‘I can’t believe I’m letting you wear this, with this wedgie.’”
They then discuss drugs, which neither of them are into. Jennifer reveals that Dawn French once got hold of an Ecstasy tablet that were going to share, but Dawn left the tablet on her mantelpiece at home – and it disappeared.
Seriously, though – Jennifer going on Girls could actually happen as a result of this interview and that would be THE BEST THING EVER.
