Good news fans of Jeremy Clarkson (hopefully that’s no one). The ex-Top Gear host will face no further action from the police over the little fracas he had with BBC producer Oisin Tymon.

Jezza attacked Oisin at the Simonstone Hall hotel in Yorkshire. Why? Because he couldn’t get a hot meal apparently.

Jeez…

But North Yorkshire Police said this morning that it had “completed its routine enquiries”, adding: “We will not be pursuing this matter any further”.

More news!

They said in a statement: “Last week, the person at the centre of the incident, Mr Tymon, said that he did not wish the police to take action on his behalf.

“However, at that point we still needed to speak to some members of the public who were present at the time of the incident, who had been affected by the event, and whose views also needed to be considered.

“Now that all the interviews are complete, we have properly established that there is no need for further police action.”

Jeremy, 54, will be happy, because he was starting to panic he wouldn’t be able to work in the US of A if the incident went to court.
