Jeremy McConnell has an explanation for the ‘suspicious white substance’

Earlier this week, Jeremy McConnell was caught on video in possession of what looked suspiciously like a suspicious white substance.

In the video, reported by The Mirror, Jez was seen walking towards the camera brandishing what looked like a white packet, with the caption “doesn’t give a f*ck”.

He then says something to his friend, to which he replies: “You nutter”.

Jeremy has now explained what the ‘suspicious white substance’ is, saying, according to The Sun: "It wasn't drugs, it was a rolled up wedge of cash.

"I was pissing around with my mates, we were doing the Conor McGregor walk."

This news comes just weeks after Jeremy told a court that he was ‘free of cocaine’ following a stint in rehab after the death of his father.

Jeremy has a well-documented history of alcohol and drug abuse, and has even once said that he’s surprised he’s still alive following a particularly heavy period.

He told The Sun: "The stuff I've seen, the stuff I've done... I'm surprised I'm not dead with the way I've partied.”

"All I want to do is be a family man and provide for my family, and leave that party boy behind.

"I want to be a father figure, and be a dad. With Caben, my mother, my brother, my sister, my dad, they're all living through him. "That's my bloodline. That's Caben. I grew up in a broken home, I don't want that for my son."
