Rarely a day goes by when there's isn't some sort of shock development in the seemingly never ending saga between Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell.

After declaring his love for the mother of his son in a sweet Insta pic a few days ago, Jeremy is reportedly trying his hardest to get his life on the right path after Steph gave him an ultimatum to 'get his life back on track'.

Sharing asweet throwback snap of himself with some of his friends, Jeremy thanked them for being there for him during the past few months: "Crazy looking at the path of growing up, I have great friends that know who they are and I may not show them how much I appreciate the help they have given me as well as support from management etc ,I'm very greatful and wanna thank everyone who has helped me."

Despite claiming claiming her Twitter was hackedwhen she replied to Jeremy's cute declaration of love, Stephanie revealed that although she still loves Jeremy, they're definitely not getting back together and that he's been battling a drug addiction and is heading into rehab imminently.

Speaking to OK! Online earlier this week, she explained: "From the beginning of last year, from when I was trying to prove to everyone I was pregnant and everything like that, Jeremy has had a drug problem.

"He has agreed to go to rehab for six weeks. It will be quite immediate.

"Jeremy knows that he is 100% in the wrong. And he has done things that aren’t good. But he isn’t a bad person, deep down, he’s not an evil vindictive person."

Steph also stated that if Jeremy doesn't get the help he needs, he'll risk never seeing his son again: "For Jeremy this is get help or die situation. So I said to him, you either get help or that's it, you lose him for good."

Let's hope Jeremy gets the help he needs.
