Yesterday was a pretty bloody massive for Jeremy McConnell. He went on This Morning to do a DNA test, hit back at Stephanie Davis on live TV (saying she “comandeered” the public against him), and said he wasn’t a big fan of the decision behind baby Caben-Albi’s name.
There was more.
And it’s now emerged that Jeremy has said Stephanie’s own DAD caused him to doubt the pregnancy, after he begged her to break up with her and warned him of her “emotional blackmail”.
In an interview with The Sun’s Dan Wootten, he said: “I know it says that on a tweet but what happened there was her dad rang me.
“I don’t want to get too personal but her dad rang me – they were all for the break up.
“Her management and family said to end things with Steph.”
“[Her dad] said to me personally, ‘Don’t fall for her emotional blackmail.’”
This was in response to a tweet of Stephanie Davis, which was itself a response to his This Morning interview (v confusing).
She posted a screenshot of an earlier tweet in which he claimed "she's not pregnant with my child come on."
Very awks.
She also posted a statement on his appearance, which can be read in full below:
Jeremy had earlier said on This Morning: "I never said once I wasn’t the father.
"I just want reassurance.
"I think Steph was totally faithful when we were together. It was just when we broke up during that month."
