Jessica Wright blasts Ricky Rayment romance: “I don’t know if I’ve ever been in love”

It seems Jessica Wright’s claws are out for ex-boyfriend Ricky Rayment – The Only Way Is Essex star says she’s never been in love despite the pair dating for two-and-a-half years.

The former couple played out their struggles for the TOWIE cameras before deciding to split in November last year.

Ricky is now dating Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson and has branded Jess “boring” since their split, but his ex insists she doesn’t regret their romance.

Jessica told The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine: “I look at that relationship as a stepping stone, whether it’s to another man or a new career, whatever. I kind of feel it was meant to happen.

“I no longer seek approval or security and it’s the first time in my life I’ve been on my own and completely in control. So whatever has happened in the past, it’s got me here today.”

She added: “I don’t even know if I’ve ever been in love. Not genuine, respectful, deep love... I’m not actually quite sure if I’ve ever had that, which is weird. It’s upsetting because I’m 29, you know?”

However, things aren’t looking terrible for Jess as she says she “may have met someone” but wants to keep details of any new relationship under wraps for now.

Meanwhile, Ricky appears to be keen to show his romance with Marnie off to the world after getting an ‘M’ tattoo and sharing a picture of the new inking on Snapchat.

And it seems his fans are pleased he’s happy, with one devotee writing on Twitter: “@RickyRayment new ‘M’ tattoo for @MarnieGShore how cute! #perfectcouple so happy for them both.”
