Jessie J has sold her glass house in Surrey because her pesky fans could see her in it

And yes, please expect at least one “shouldn’t throw stones” reference in this story…

Jessie J has sold her glass house in Surrey. Why did J-J-Jessie J buy a glass house in Surrey? We don’t know. We can only imagine the window cleaning bills were astronomical.

But the ex-judge from The Voice has revealed that she had to sell the glass house because those bloomin’ fans of her wanted to look at her through the glass, like she was in a little Jessie J zoo, where there’s only one animal, and it’s Jessie J, sat on a toilet.

Speaking to Alan Carr on Chatty Man, she said: "I bought a house in Surrey. It was all made of glass.

"But after The Voice I had a new, weird level of fame and I had to sell it as I couldn't be famous and live in a glass house."

We’re not sure anyone should live in a glass house Jessie J. What if the sun’s magnified rays melt all your Freddos? What if burglars catch a glimpse of where you keep your wig collection? Also, there’s that whole not being able to throw stones thing, which sucks, as it's always nice to have the option.

Apparently JJ “felt so sorry for the people who bought it”, as after she sold the glass palace she spotted some fans outside singing her 2011 hit,* Domino*. We say they’re ‘fans’, but wouldn’t fans have known she’s moved out? Or know some of her newer material? Or wonder why the silhouette of Jessie J in her massive glass house, has now materialised into the outline of a portly 57-year-old man?*****

*****We don’t know if a man of this description actually owns this house now.

Now Jessie has revealed her plans to move to America, perhaps because you can do barmy things like buy a massive glass house and no one will harass you.

She said: "In America they see me as a singer whereas here I feel that people don't appreciate my voice. I've dedicated my life to singing and I want it to be taken seriously.

"Here it seems that all people want to know is what I've had for breakfast and who I'm sleeping with."

Well, if you still lived in your massive glass house Jessie we’d already know both of those things, but you selfishly moved out, remember?
