Jesy Nelson shows off her HUGE engagement ring for the first time since Jake Roche proposed!

How excited must Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson have been to perform at the Key 103 Summer Live gig just after boyfriend Jake Roche proposed to her? Forget over the moon, we reckon she was probably staging her own fly-by around Pluto.

Yep, the singer got engaged when Ed Sheeran announced he had something to tell Jesy live on stage after the Little Mix soundcheck.

He then serenaded her with the acoustic version of her and Jake’s song – Tenerife Sea – and then Jake came on stage, got down on one knee and presented her with THIS beautiful diamond ring.

“When I heard that, I just bawled,” Jesy admitted.

The rest of the girls said they “had an inkling” something was going on, though they “didn’t know the ins and outs”.

“It’s just as much of a lovely surprise for us,” said Leigh-Anne Pinnock. “It was literally like a movie!”

“It sounds so strange, but I said to the girls it felt like when we won The X Factor – everything just went… I felt like I wasn’t even there!” added Jesy.

The couple (plus Ed) were at the Manchester Arena for the big event – a venue that Jake confessed had a massive meaning to them.

“A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life,” he wrote on Instagram.

The Rixton frontman and Jesy have been dating since September 2014 and when they get married, Jesy’s parents-in-law will be none other than Shane Richie and Coleen Nolan.

Jesy’s happy news now means half of Little Mix are engaged – but will she and Jake beat Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik to the altar? Something tells us: yep, probably.
