Jesy Nelson has become a first-time mum after welcoming twin daughters. The former Little Mix star shared the happy news with a photo of her and partner Zion Foster holding their bundles of joy, who arrived on 15 May.
She wrote, ‘Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus five days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We’ve never felt more in love. Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster.’
Jesy announced her pregnancy in January, sharing a snap of her and musician Zion, 25, saying, ‘She’s eating for three now.’ The pair started dating in 2022, but split briefly in 2024, before reuniting.
Jesy, 33, previously revealed that she experienced rare complications during her pregnancy, owing to an imbalanced blood flow from one twin to the other, known as twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
She spent two months in hospital afteran operation in March to prevent complications, but thankfully, the girls arrived healthily. Celebs soon flocked to send their love to the new parents, including Stacey Dooley, and former Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse, whose own daughter was also born prematurely.
Jesy has had a tough few years since leaving Little Mix, parting ways with Jade Thirwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards in 2020. She went on to collaborate with hip-hop and rap musician Zion, and the couple released single Mine last year.
In a teased as-yet unreleased track, they even address their age gap, with Jesy singing, ‘He’s 25, I’m 33, but he’s the realest f**king man I’ll ever meet.’
The journey for Jesy and Zion’s babies to arrive has not been easy, but it has made them stronger as a couple.
Zion previously said, ‘I think it’s at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. And I think for me and Jess, this has taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are made for each other.’
