Despite Harry’s giant pile of gold just chilling in Gringotts bank, it turns out the boy wizard wouldn’t have had to put his fortune towards tuition, as J. K Rowling has revealed that Hogwarts was NOT a private school, after all.
One fan tweeted the Harry Potter author after getting caught in an intense debate with her pal over the cost of tuition at the magical school.
JK, (who has a track record of being a Twitter BOSS!) replied to the curious fan saying: “There's no tuition fee! The Ministry of Magic covers the cost of all magical education!"
