It appears J.K. Rowling has shared yet another treat for Harry Potter fans - on website Pottermore - and this time it's a story revealing details of the history of the Potter family.
Posted today, the article The Potter Family traces Harry's family roots all the way back to the 12th century.
The Potters apparently descended from the wizard, who had seven children, Linfred of Stinchcombe - a "locally well-beloved and eccentric man, whose nickname, 'the Potterer,' became corrupted in time to 'Potter.'"
