8. You have to wait all year

While most people have two very separate celebrations you have to wait all year for your 'one' big celebration.

Taking to Instagram to reveal her love for Christmas, Jodie posted several photos and a video of her decorations, posting one image which showed her huge Christmas tree sat next to two large stuffed elves.

The former model captioned the image, "Studies show that people who put their Christmas decorations up earlier are happier. It's happening."

Jodie then posted another image of a blue Christmas tree, adorned with white baubles to match the interior of her room. She wrote, "The big tree is the Star Wars and Harry Potter tree. Billy is obsessed with both.

"I've been collecting decorations for months for it. Still got more to go on but we have so many cool bits on there."

And Jodie hasn't stopped there. The 40-year-old, who recently revealed she's dating an Elvis impersonator, also confessed she's built her own Christmas village in her front room and we have to say, it's pretty impressive.

The video shows how Jodie has put together little chalets, fairground rides, Christmas market stalls and pine trees, amidst fake snow, to create the perfect Xmas atmosphere.

The village even has Christmas jingles playing as the rides go around. It's the details guys.

However, her fans have given Jodie a mixed response, with some thinking its way too early to start thinking about 25th December, whilst others are loving Jodie's enthusiasm.

One user wrote, "Your Christmas trees are amazing", with another commenting, "Never ever too early. Why wait if you enjoy and appreciate the beauty of such festivities!!! Everyday should be celebrated" However, another user said, "It's October!" and a fourth added, "Just no."

You might be thinking Jodie is the only celebrity putting up her decorations early, but think again, because many of the nation's favourite celebs love putting up their decorations early, including McFly's Tom Fletcher.

Yesterday (8th October), the singer took to Instagram to reveal he was shopping for decorations, joking, "Me: I just want to pop into the Garden Centre and see if they have any “plants”... Yep, they do!"

Jodie's latest photos come after she posted several loved-up pictures with her new toyboy lover, who is 17 years her junior, after she split from her ex Wayne Lennox.

Announcing their split, Jodie said, "I have split up with Wayne. And before you start thinking ''Oh she can't keep a man'' allow me to explain that it was ME who ended it and for good reason."

"I know my love life has always been turbulent and that's one of the reasons I stayed single for so long. Even though I'm not really in the limelight anymore, most people of a certain age still know my name and most guys I've been with still get excited over the fact that I'm THE Jodie Marsh.

"When I met Wayne I thought he was literally ME but in male form. He loved all the same things I did and we had so much in common... I honestly thought he was perfect and The One for me.

She ended the statement, "Sadly a chain of events has happened that has led me to opening my eyes and seeing how things for how they really are and that he is in fact not even close to being the one for me."
