Joey Essex believes he can hear ghosts whispering to him

Joey Essex is a rather excellent specimen of a human – he provides endless smiles thanks to his amazing belief in all things reem.

But former The Only Way Is Essex star Joey has dropped another gem of brilliant information just in time for Halloween – the reality star believes in ghosts and claims he can hear them whispering to him.

The star recently headed to the Welsh border town of Hay-on-Wye to film his new show Educating Joey Essex: Reem Halloween.

He said: “Sometimes I am in my house and I feel something sitting next to me. All I can hear is them speaking to me. I have always felt this presence but it’s not evil.”

Ah, so maybe Joey is mates with Casper?

The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmate was joined by a ghost hunter on his travels and the pair visited one of Wales’ “most haunted” pubs.

He also bumped into a witch on his travels who cut off some of his prized hair to put in a potion.

He said: “When the witch took my hair, I kicked up a bit of a fuss because I didn’t want her to use it against me – curse me or do something bad to me.”

Don’t worry Joey, we reckon you’ve got nothing to worry about…
