Just imagine it: Essex bachelor with finite wisdom but infinite hilarity and beautiful American pop star meet after a day on the slopes.
As they warm up in the bar and shelter from the blizzard outside, their eyes meet across the room and they instantly fall in love and live happily ever after.
Well, this is kind of what happened to reality star Joey Essex and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
The pair have apparently fallen for each other after both signing up for celebrity winter sports show The Jump.
They have both started training ahead of the Channel 4 series at an indoor ski slope in Milton Keynes and are said to have been flirting outrageously.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “There is an obvious connection between Joey and Ashley, who both really fancy each other. They’re both up for a laugh and don’t take life too seriously.
“Joey likes a blonde and Ashley ticks all the right boxes. Plus they’ve both got their I’m A Celebrity jungle experience, which they share, despite having been in the show on different years.
“Ashley has found parts of the training difficult and Joey has been helping her. He has been her rock.”
