Joey Essex flies personal hairdresser to Ibiza for haircut after running out of time before he left

It’s no secret Joey Essex likes to look good – or reem, we should say – but the star has gone to some extreme lengths to keep himself looking great on holiday in Ibiza.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Joey jetted off to Ibiza with friends this weekend but didn’t get a chance to give himself the, erm, once over before he left.

Due to his busy schedule doing Essex-type things, Joey didn’t have time for a haircut before he left for the White Isle.

On Friday, he tweeted: “Just realised I need to get my hair cut... Never got enough time... On road ATM #Problems.”

Keeping fans up to date later that day, he added: “Just going to sleep now... Still ain’t had my hair cut. No time. Dammmmmmit... Anyways, good night everyone... Zzz Zzzzz Zzzzzzz.”

That was the last of Joey’s hair updates but he was spotted travelling to the airport with his mates with a messy ‘do under his hat, suggesting he hadn’t had it chopped.

So, what do you do when you’re Joey Essex and in desperate need of shorter locks? You fly your personal hairdresser out to Ibiza just to give you a cut.

Posting a picture of his messy, bulbous bonce on Twitter, he wrote: “Flew my hairdresser to Ibiza. Big up @karlkarma... I’m waiting for you G.”

And just a couple of hours later Joey was in the chair by the pool with his hairdresser having come to the rescue.

He captioned a snap: “I knew he would make it. Thank you @karlkarma for flying to Ibiza to cut my hair :).”

UGH-MAZE-ING!

By the way, recently released figures show that Joey earned more than £420,000 from the time he left TOWIE in November 2013 until June 2014 so it’s no wonder he’s got a bit of spare cash laying around.
