It seems they'll be no fairytale ending for Joey Essex and Sam Faiers as they've reportedly ended their relationship for a second time, after they were driven apart by after endless arguments and bickering.
The couple had been together in Marbella – to celebrate Sam’s sister Billie’s recent engagement – but it seems Joey’s had enough, after it’s claimed he left the resort to catch a plane home when it all became too much. “[Joey and Sam] have been on the rocks for a while,” said an insider. “They are constantly bickering and falling out. It’s not been pretty.”
Joey and Sam broke up for the first time last year – just three months after their engagement – for the same reasons. And, after becoming a major story line in The Only Way Is Essex, the couple tried to give their relationship another chance off-camera, but it seems like it just isn’t meant to be after their seemingly endless arguing has ended their relationship once again.
“The last straw was in Marbella,” the source added to the Sun. “The atmosphere between them wasn’t healthy and Joey simply had enough — he just had to get away.” Despite seeming in high spirits on Twitter, writing, “Most uncomfortable flight and coldest I have ever flew haha. Don’t wear shorts and flip flops! Back home in bed :) x” – the 24-year-old is said to be gutted after telling friends he believed Sam was “the one”.
Let’s hope the split was for the best for them both.
