We can probably all agree that Celebs Go Dating was the best thing to happen ever to TV.
We fell in love with the narrator, Tom the receptionist, Tyger Drew-Honey, MARLENE, that guy from Grimsby who lost his job in a fish factory after going on a date with Charlotte Crosby – basically everyone, really.
But two people who appear to have found almost as much love as we did are Stephanie Pratt and Joey Essex.
After trying and failing to go on dates with a few non-famous people (the actual premise of the show), they ended up together.
It was the cross-reality show romance that none of us saw coming (and we love a cross-reality show romance), and we’re pretty darn pleased with the new pairing.
And what’s first milestone of a new celeb relationship? Meeting the family? A European mini break? NOPE, it’s doing a magazine photoshoot together.
Obviously.
In their accompanying interview, they opened up about their relationship.
Joey said: "I know it’s genuine, she knows it’s genuine. I trust her, she trusts me. It works and it’s perfect. I don’t care what anyone says or thinks.
"It’s been a lot of pressure for us. We haven’t been able to walk down the street. We’ve been wearing massive hoodies!" he told OK! Magazine.
Steph continued: "I’m so happy I don’t have to look for the perfect guy any more. He fell right into my hands...I think he’s the hottest guy in the world."
Wow.
We’re SERIOUSLY desperate for a second series, can we just say.
One person who could star is Jess Wright – she revealed exclusively to heat she’d be up for doing the show.
"I was really nervous and sceptical about doing First Dates," Jess told us.
"Now I've done that I would be definitely be up for more dating shows. I feel like they are really fun, that you can show off a different side to your character, and yeah – Celebs Go Dating, why not?"
