What's the ONE thing that would make The X Factor even bloody better this weekend? If Sharon Osborne forgot poor Saara Aalto's name again? If Simon Cowell brought his ADORABLE son Eric along to replace Louis Walsh on the judging panel? Or if Honey G threw a huge curveball and came out in a glittery ballgown singing a Whitney Houston song?

Well, quite frankly all of the above would make absolutely brilliant viewing.

But, unless we are freakily accurate predictors of the future (which we could well be), none of that will happen.

Instead, they've only gone and got John Legend to come along and give the contestants a masterclass.

WE KNOW.

The singing smoothy turned up this week to offer a bit of guidance to the wannabe stars as they get themselves ready for the all-important Diva Week.

As all the contestants rehearsed their numbers, John sat in the frow to encourage them.

Not as if a Grammy-award winning artist sitting there watching you practice would make you shit yourself at all. Not one bit.

And the megastar was REALLY impressed with what he saw, appaz.

"There are some really talented singers, some good variety in the styles," he said.

Meaning who, John? Are you talking about Honey G?

"I really liked Four of Diamonds, I thought they were wonderful," he confessed.

Yeah, but – Honey G though? Does she get the Legend stamp of approval?

"And Gifty was great, she had such a good energy," he continued.

But you're gonna say Honey G was by far your absolute fave, right?

"I think both Matt and Relley can be better than they were today, they are both really talented," he concluded.

Oh. OK.

Don't worry our North Weezy lovely, at least you've got a PA booked at Kittys & Kandy on the final night.

The X Factor is back on ITV this Saturday at 8pm.
