It's officially time to get stuck into the festive season! The John Lewis 2015 Christmas advert has been released, and, obviously, it's a real tearjerker.
The ad is all about athe man on the moon, and features a little-known Norwegian singer called Aurora who sings the Oasis track Half The World Away.

Until now John Lewis has kept the 2015 ad closely under its bobble hat; simply teasing a clip during Sunday night’s X Factor with a picture of the moon overlaid with the hashtag #OnTheMoon.
The Sun claims Noel Gallagher, who penned the Oasis song, will be raking in thousands of pounds from the ad.

The song was also the theme tune for long-running comedy series The Royle Family.
A source told the newspaper that John Lewis bosses spent months pondering which singer to go with, but felt 19-year-old Aurora was a perfect fit.
“There have been lots of options and the process has been kept top secret,” the insider said.
“But even though Aurora is a complete unknown, they felt her quirky voice is perfect for the song.
“There were initially some discussions about the song being a cover of Steve Winwood’s Higher Love, but the Oasis track won out.”
