Diversity dancer and radio presenter Jordan Banjo announced he was expecting his second baby with girlfriend Naomi Courts last month. The news came eight months after the couple welcomed their first baby Cassius together, and they took to Instagram to announce the shock news.
Sharing an adorable photo of himself with little Cassius holding a baby scan, Jordan wrote, 'CASSIUS IS GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER❤️! Genuinely never felt more blessed, last year having Cassius was the best thing that’s ever happened to me and @naomiella21, being a dad is genuinely the best job in the world and now we’re going to be mummy and daddy to another little bubba later this year!
'@naomiella21 I’m so proud of you and the amazing mum/partner you are❤️ Can’t wait for the rest of this year and the crazy adventure of our little family getting that bit bigger!' [sic]
And now, The Greatest Dancer host has revealed that whilst he and Naomi were of course over the moon to discover that they were expecting baby number two, it had slightly scuppered his plans as he'd been preparing to propose!
Naomi said, "We always knew we wanted another baby fairly quickly as we want our children to be close in age, but we weren't expecting it to happen quite as quickly as it did!"
Jordan added, "I was hoping to propose before Naomi fell pregnant again but things haven't worked out that way. It's next on our agenda!"
Naomi also revealed that, although the couple had planned to have four children initially, the morning sickness she'd suffered with Cassius meant that she was reconsidering having that many children.
Jordan's older brother Ashley is also expecting a baby this year, and even sparked rumours that his wife Francesca had given birth already - but has since followed it up with a video of the baby kicking in her tummy.
He wrote, 'The bump decided to wake us up at 3am - She was full of it last night! I think this counts as her first dance lesson from me!? 😂🙏🏼 I AM IN LOVE ALREADY! 😩 She signed off by kicking me in the face just to let me know who’s boss👌🏽#5678 #gobabygobaby #babybump.' [sic]
Congratulations to the family!
